About the Cast:

Colleen Horan: After the success of I Wanna Be a Disney Princess, Colleen is so happy to be working on another WC Cabaret. Other work with The WC includes the role of C.C. in Wind Beneath My Wings: the Adventures of C.C. and Whitney (produced by Prospect Theater in their Dark Night’s Series), and as director for The Songs and Stories of Bob Horan (UNDER St. Mark’s). Other roles include The Diva in DM Theatrics’ Taking Liberties: An Evening of Elvis Costello (Brick Theatre), Chrysothemis in Iphigenia and Other Daughters (Actor’s Theater Workshop, Temporary Theatre Company) and as a waitress in Truffles and Tiramisu (Samuel French Play Festival).  Special thanks to family and friends who always support her, some since puberty, and Karen and Lora for their work.

Karen Myatt:
Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, graduate of  The Randolph (TO) and American Musical and Dramatic (NY) Academies. One of Broadway’s Rising Stars in the Broadway Summer Series at Town Hall directed by Emily Skinner. Co-Founder, Director and performer for The Concordia Company in Lazos; a bilingual revue that tours Mexico. Other Credits include Simone Cixous in the World Premiere of Trudeau; a Jazz Opera (Vocalypse Prod, CBC National Broadcast), Rita La Porta in Lucky Stiff (Company 1B) and a regular guest in Gail Dennison’s series: Judy’s House (Abingdon Theatre) and co-writer for the last WC Cabaret I Wanna Be a Disney Princess.

Lora Beth Cohan has a very intimate relationship with the piano.  She studied at LaGuardia High School in New York, and is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz (New Paltz, NY) with a Bachelors in Music and Philosophy.  Some notable  achievements are performances in the pit for student productions of Les Miserables, Fame, and the New Paltz Burlesque Club.  She also played in the WC’s first cabaret I Wanna Be a Disney Princess. Bands include Kat’s Kradle (a jazz project) and The Dreambats (a different kind of project).  In her spare time, Lora enjoys playing jazz music and being a firefighter.

The songs you could only justify singing in the shower…until now!

Colleen and Karen sing the Disney and 80′s cartoon hits you forgot that you remember. Come have a drink at the TONY Lounge and enjoy the offbeat, sometimes twisted, but always sincere renditions of their childhood favorites with a few stories along the way.

And, there may or may not be cupcakes involved. Just sayin’. $10 at the door, benefiting the next Wunderkind Consortium production in 2011.

Special thanks to Princess Colleen and Lora for making all her dreams come true!

Colleen Horan: Founder of the Wunderkind Consortium, and it’s main workhorse. Works with The WC include C.C. in Wind Beneath My Wings: the Adventures of C.C. and Whitney (produced by Prospect Theater in their Dark Night’s Series), and as director for The Songs and Stories of Bob Horan (UNDER St. Mark’s). Other roles include The Diva in DM Theatrics’ Taking Liberties: An Evening of Elvis Costello (Brick Theatre), Chrysothemis in Iphigenia and Other Daughters (Actor’s Theater Workshop, Temporary Theatre Company) and as a waitress in Truffles and Tiramisu (Samuel French Play Festival – shout out to her husband, the playwright, who apparently thinks of her as a waitress??).  Special thanks to family and friends who support her not-so-closeted love o’Disney, and Karen and Lora for making this labor of love happen.

Bands include Kat’s Kradle (a jazz project) and The Dreambats (a different kind of project).  In her spare time, Lora enjoys playing jazz music and being a firefighter.  She is very happy to finally be fulfilling her several-year-long dream of being a part of The WC, and she likes Karen and Colleen very much.
